These three pricing components will vary depending upon what group of buyers the policy is being priced for.
Products priced for individual buyers ("retail pricing") have the highest COI charges and expenses.
Products priced for institutional markets ("institutional pricing") have lower expenses than products for individual buyers.
Products priced for qualified pools with superior claims experience ("experience-rated pricing") offer the same advantage of lower expenses as institutional pricing, but also have lower COI charges than retail and institutional products.
