A. Gordon Tunstall is founder of Tunstall Consulting in Tampa, Florida.  Mr. Tunstall advises TIA in the areas of investment banking and long-term capital planning.  Mr. Tunstall is nationally recognized for his successful representation of growth companies in capital markets.

Founded in 1980, Tunstall Consulting consistently completes 50 to 60 transactions annually and has raised more than $6 billion since its inception.  Tunstall typically represents small, solid growth companies located throughout the U.S.  While Tunstall specializes in matching companies with financing sources that offer the highest valuation, the firm is also known for developing innovative business plans for clients, and Tunstall's consultants frequently continue to serve as financial advisers well after financing transactions have been completed.

Before founding Tunstall Consulting, Mr. Tunstall served as Chief Financial Officer for Swann Oil, a Philadelphia-based residual fuel company.  During his four years with Swann, the company increased sales from $25 of $450 million per year through a strong acquisition program.  Mr. Tunstall began his professional career as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (Price-Waterhouse, Coopers) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  After five years with the Big-Eight accounting firm, Mr. Tunstall joined Provident National Bank as Vice President and lending officer.

Mr. Tunstall serves as a consultant and director for several New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ listed companies.  He has been featured in regional and national publications including  Forbes Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the Tampa Bay Review, and the Tampa Tribune.  A self-styled champion for entrepreneurial enterprise, in 1996 Mr. Tunstall was selected Florida Entrepreneur of the Year for his exceptional contributions to Florida's entrepreneurial community.  The Florida business community has also recognized Mr. Tunstall's success by selecting nine Tunstall clients as Entrepreneur of the Year finalists.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Tunstall graduated from Widener College with a degree in accounting.  He also completed certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
